I have these tan/beige curtains. Long story about why I need to match the wall color to cheap curtains, but basically these were the only curtains I found that would fit the space and coordinate with curtains I have in the next room (open area). I was thinking about a light color, but our trim and cabinetry is white. Could a light tan/off white paint color work with white trim? What other colors could I do? It's for our entryway and living room. Help please!

@Zbug: I was just admiring my BFF's light blue walls with chocolate and tan accents/furniture. So pretty.
Or you could do a sage and it would look like Hellobee

@rachiecakes: I was thinking light blue might work. It would be really pretty. The only problem is that I have a tealish chair in the living room, which is just off the entryway. Maybe they are too close and it would clash? I need to hire a designer!

I would do any color other than tan.
I like pale blue, pale green, apricot, dark brown, gray, etc with tan. I think almost any color could work, honestly.

Blues/greys would be good. My living room is painted dolphin fin by Behr I think, that would look nice.

My favorite paint color is Palladian Blue by Benjamin Moore. Depending on the light, it can look more gray, more greenish, or very warm. I have my living room/hallway painted that color with a brown accent wall and tan furniture.
For reference, my bathroom off the main hall is painted a very vibrant teal, and it goes nicely with the Palladian Blue.

Another for blue, the first that popped into my head was navy, but you said light...so I would say greenish/blue.

I didn't think about a light blueish green. That could work. Sorry for not tagging everyone, but thanks for the great suggestions!!
@LuLu Mom: I keep toying with the idea of navy. I love it but am worried it might be too dark with our brown couch.
