Black! They were really cute strapless knee length pencil dresses, and both my bridesmaids have worn them again at least once!

@MsMini: Black was my first choice but our Moms talked me out of it!

@autumnlove: The prevalence of black did get a side-eye at our wedding (almost all the family - both Moms even - wore it since it was okay with us), but it did make the wedding have a really elegant cocktail-party type feel.

I had six bridesmaids and they all wore different knee length navy blue dresses. I love the mismatched yet uniformed look of it!

The top was a chocolate lace with champagne under and a chocolate bottom. I still think they were so pretty and classic.

I only had one and she wore duponi silk in sea blue. It was beautiful, I wanted one for myself.

There were two dresses because one never ordered her dress (I paid for & ordered the others) & then it was discontinued. The first was a green chiffon with gold satin under it & gold beading on the straps and under the bust. Then we ended up putting half the bridesmaids (2/4) in a taupe chiffon. I kept the unused green dress & wore it on our honeymoon!

The dress was 3 colors of dupioni silk. The strapless bodice was off white, a band of hot pink at the waist, and an orange knee length skirt. I really wish I had one! The bright colors were so pretty for our garden reception!

Navy blue. The other color was a bright spring green (they carried green orchids).

My bridesmaids wore champagne, backless a-line ballgowns! I got them at the bcbg outlet and they were my first wedding purchase. My mom got mad because she said I made my bridesmaids too pretty, but I didn't care! They were gorgeous. Oh and they carried bouquets of dark red roses.. The only other color in the wedding.

Two shades of brown: a dark chocolate and a soft latte type of color.

All different shades of yellow! I let my bridesmaids pick out their own dresses (or actually I helped them find their individual dresses).

Varying shades from tiddany blue to teal, we went with mismatched coordinating and it totally worked for our island wedding

Purple satin. They got to pick their own styles. Our other wedding colors were green and cream. We got married in a converted barn and I loved it. Wish I could relive that night all the time : )

Aqua- or "pool" from David's Bridal. Looked AWESOME bc it was the same color as the ocean in all of our pics!

Pistashio green. And had these supercute polkadots cascading down the front. I totally wanted one.

My bms all wore different short (just around knee length) black dresses. My 3 sisters just happened to be in satin and my 2 friends were in jersey. I loved that everyone had something that flattered them that they will likely wear again!
