Thanks to a bunch of extra hands around the house, I just slept from 7 PM to almost 7 AM with just one wake up in the middle. People watched and took care of baby all evening while I rested. and now, baby is still sleeping.
It is supposed to snow today! So rare in Texas.
And my baby girl is 4 weeks old today.

Santa brought me a shopping trip with my husband yesterday to pick out my own presents, haha. He had something in mind and it ended up being sold out, so we chose a couple things together. Normally I like to be surprised, but I'm obsessed with my new booties so I can't complain!

I got an amazing slew of things: owl cake platter, set of owl dessert plates, a handmade walnut cutting board whichever brother then used a burning tool to engrave our last name and some owls on the side- soooo amazing I will take a picture later!
Also: some TOMS, beautiful lace infinity scarf, money from gparents and aunt, and a cookbook.
