Did you do anything differently on the month that you conceived versus other months?
We used expectorant to create more CM and did the deed every other day, but other than that, it was all the same as any other month.

I quit coffee and we "finished things" in a different position.

Our pregnancy was a surprise. We did nothing differently (we've used FAM for years without any problems). I think the stress of my mom separating from my mentally ill dad knocked back ovulation and kept me distracted! DH and I know of a great way to beat stress...
Oh, and DH didn't do his usual please-no-baby prayer one night. Instead, he prayed that if I did become pregnant, that I and the baby would be healthy. Some kind of divine intervention must have been involved in this, haha.

I got angry and decided to stop taking my prenatal vitamins (we had been trying for a few months and I was feeling a little depressed). 9 days later--BAM! Pregnant! and I had to go out and buy another bottle
Then I freaked out for about 2 weeks until I saw the doctor who convinced me that since I eat a bowl of Total every single day (including during our 9 day wait), baby should be fine---Total has a LOT of the vitamins that the prenatals have.

@PetuniasandPearls: I did the same thing . . . got frustrated and stopped taking my prenatals the month we got pregnant.

Maybe we had sex closer to ovulation? Not sure! We weren't trying to do anything differently.

Stopped trying. Took stuff when I was hurt instead of toughing it out, and allowed myself a bottle of strawberry Arbor Mist instead of 2 glasses of red wine during the TWW. (Also, we tried a position so weird that I hurt myself enough to need pain-killers.)

First time around, I was in the process of losing weight. I think that helped. The second time around... I think I realized I was just fertile. ha.

Nope, nothing different. I had just gotten off the pill and got pregnant the very first week I noticed any sort of CM (which was absent on the pill).
Oh, and we conceived on vacation. -
We were more diligent about our BD schedule... the prior two months it was 3-5x around when I thought was O month. The BFP cycle we used the CBEFM and BD every day for almost 2 weeks.

Do you mean versus other months when we weren't TTC or when we were TTC?

stopped thinking about it for the first time in 6 months and it worked!

We DTD on O day and 2 days after, instead of doing it before O day which is usually suggested. I was sick, so wasn't feeling up to it beforehand.
DH had also cut way down on his drinking, which can impede sperm count/motility.

Nothing position wise. I did buy a new thermometer that month which threw my temps all out of whack. Because of that, we had sex every single day for a week since I wasn't sure when I was ovulating. He loved it. lol

the month we got pg was the month I wasn't even thinking about it....
I was interviewing for a new job across the country, didn't chart, had 1 OPK that I tried and it didn't work so I gave up on it for the month, just BD'ed whenever, and I didn't even think about it until my period was approaching, and we got our BFP.
All of the other months, I was thinking/stressing about it - OPK-ing, charting (some months), making sure we were BDing when we were supposed to... and nothing!

Decided to take the month off from trying and went on vacation. Lost 5 pounds and stopped trying all of those rumored things that will help fertility. Drank a whole bunch of tropical drinks, ate a ton of sushi, and rode horses during our cruise. Had a great time, which we hadn't really been having for most of the previous year, also my great but intense boss quit and was replaced by one that was much more relaxed.
I think the combination of losing a little weight, relaxing on vacation and at work, and just lucky timing was what did it.

we were TTA before and this was our first cycle TTC, but we went full force, i guess you could say. i was charting CM and temping, we used pre-seed and DTD every other day.

We only tried for a few months, but I think DH was feeling pressured. The month we got the BFP I didn't tell him it was BD time and just let things go.
