What did you eat when you were nauseous?

Anything that remotely sounded edible to me at the time. Nausea = survival mode.

oranges and tangerines. I kept the peels and sniffed them when I was nauseous.

@bunnylove08: Oh, I should keep the peels! Good idea!

@bluestriped bee: Just rub them if the scent is not as strong and the oils will come to the surface.

Ice cold stuff like freezies worked for me. Also, flavoured yoghurt and jello. Easy to eat and easy to bring back up.

@bunnylove08: Totally second this advice, lemons work well too!

I lived off of carbs and fruit. Usually a piece of bread with peanut butter, crackers, or plain pasta. For some reason, fruit and jello usually sat well with me too.

@bluestriped bee: that was quite literally what I had to drink when first waking up or I'd be sick.

This pregnancy was all about pretzels dipped in cookie butter, mixed nuts, cinnamon candy (the thought makes me sick now haha), bananas, and toast. every meal was pretty much cereal...

Cottage cheese, water melon, cucumber, honey but cheerios, yogurt.

I found that I needed protein regularly and that carbs often made me feel worse.

But really there just want much eating on

Crackers - like triscuits - and nuts. I especially loved pistachios. Oh and flavoured water.

Mashed potatoes! I honestly found that exercise helped me the most though. Just light elliptical or walking g on a treadmill while watching Netflix made me feel so much better if I forced myself to do it. Otherwise lots of mashed potatoes. You can stir veggies and cheese and other stuff in as well to boost nutrition.

Lightly toasted sourdough bread with just a little bit of butter. Green apples. Popsicles. Pretzels. Coke Zero.

Toast, crunchy things, icy things, citrus, or fizzy drinks, basically.

Fruit was the only thing that was appetizing. Bagels and cream cheese, cereal and milk were the second least nauseating foods. Thats it. Everything else was horrible. Oh and sometimes sour foods...pickles in particular.
