What was the your biggest challenge after becoming a parent for the first time? Mine was definitely breast feeding!!! Even with the class i took & help from lactation consultants...the first 2 weeks was very difficult! I shed a lot of tears but now it is going well.

Definitely nursing and figuring out a schedule.

Well, nursing was very tough for me, so much that I quit! I think dealing with mommy guilt for that, and for not being able to be there for LO like I want to due to migraines. Stupid mommy guilt.

Nursing is definitely up there! I also think it hard to take care of a newborn that you're not getting very much feedback from i.e. before they smile, have a personality, etc. Now that my LO is older and talks, it is so much easier, even when she throws tantrums for no reason.

Breastfeeding for sure. I had so many issues the first time around. Thank goodness I learned from them and am nursing #2 just fine now (except she doesn't take bottles, but that's another story!). Haha okay I guess that's our biggest challenge the 2nd time... Too much breastfeeding, no bottles

The lack of sleep due to baby's mix up of his night and days....also the inconsistency of it all! I can count on one hand where my LO has slept for 4 hours straight!

I always thought whatever I was going thru was the hardest til it was over and the next hard thing came up. The most recent difficult thing has been tantrums. But looking back, overall I think nursing and being a sahm were the two toughest things.

The schedule ( and working out one!) and finding time for me. It's really hard to just completely lose yourself as a person and just become this feeding, changing, cleaning thing! Also developing confidence that I did know what I was doing and that I did know how to look after LO.
I actually found breastfeeding the easiest thing! LO and I made an awesome team from the get go.

Breastfeeding, hands down. I hope I have an easier time like @cupcakemama the next time around!

nursing for sure. It was really difficult and I felt like no matter what I tried, nothing was helping. That and being a SAHM when none of my friends were, so it was quite a lonely life during the weekdays. Now, I have a few mommy friends I've met and we're in the process of scheduling more regular play dates, which are fun.
