I was wondering what you got for mother's day this year?
I got flowers from my mom and sister, Garnier BB cream (whoot whoot!) from my stepmom and a card from Mavi!
My husband didn't get me anything, but that's because we said we wouldn't do gifts (to help our budget) I do wish he would of wished me a happy's mother's day... but then again he took care of Mavi more today (without me asking) so maybe that was his gift to me

Dh surprised me with a spa package--facial massage pedicure and lunch to use after my 1st trimester!
We had dim sum for lunch and having sushi for dinner!

I received a beautiful bouquet from my grandpa, a card from my mom & dad and a giant gorgeous baby bag from DH! I've been spoiled this mothers day.

My husband bought me flowers and my LO bought me a spa certificate! I thought the spa email was spam so I deleted it this morning before DH asked me if I liked my gift!

I'm only 4 weeks pregnant from IVF and my husband got my a card and two little picture frames to put the pictures of our embryos in! So sweet.

I'm making a shadow frame for the clay imprints of baby's little hands and feet (we'll do the imprints when he arrives) for my mom AND MIL. And... one for me, too.
I still need to add a photo, the actual prints, and a little card with his birthday, weight, etc. I think it'll be super cute!

I said no gifts but he brought me flowers when he got off work this morning and cleaned the house before he went to bed at 4. He also has been taking care of lo for the most part today.

Mr. Jumper let me sleep in today (woohoo!) and has taken care of Little Jumper almost exclusively today. I even got to take a nap!
He bought me a year subscription to Spotify & an iPhone/iPod speaker so we can listen to music out on our deck.

My dear husband got me an iPhone (I've been wanting one for awhile) and my favorite flowers. We're going to dinner in a bit and that's all I know. He said the ret of the night is a surprise I'm so excited!

@Rubies: Awww, sorry that happened Did you tell him before what you expected? Did you tell him now? It's hard for boys to know these things if we don't spell it out for them, and since you've never been a mother before this is his first time too so he just might not know what he's supposed to do.
My mother's day wasn't everything I wanted it to be either. Not DH's fault since he was in the hospital, but it still sucked not having him there. Lets have a pity party together!

@Rubies: My mom made sure to tell my husband that her first mothers day my dad didn't do anything, when she was crying because she was so upset, he declared, "Well you're not MY mother." He never made that mistake again! So my DH knew it's kind of a big deal
He woke up at 6:30 this morning to make me a card from him and a card from my 3 mos old son hehe it was soo cute. Then a little book of coupons, a massage from him, help with dishes, laundry, diaper changers, a "free night of getting up with the baby" (loving that one), a few more and a $50 gift card to my favorite salon. I'm excited. He is so sweet.

My new e-ring setting is partly my mother's day gift, but I also got a card from Wagon Jr. AND a card from Wagon Sr., and a shiseido eyelash curler. Wagon Sr. looked it up on my favorite makeup blogger's website and bought it!

@Rubies: Some men don't get it. My husband didn't even wish me a happy mother's day. Nor did he ever tell me I'm a great/good/normal (whatever adjective seems suitable) mother.
