I just bought my LO's birthday present! It's still not for a few months, but I'm going to be so busy leading up to it so I wanted to just get it done with. We bought her this http://www.captainzoom.com/personalized-birthday-music-dvd.html. My grandma and grandpa gave me the tape when I was young, and I still listen to it every year. Hope she loves it as much as I do!

I don't think we got her anything? It was only a month and a half ago, but I can't remember for the life of me!
We threw her a really nice party. haha.

we go my son a convertible car seat. we left it up to the grandparents to give toys and fun stuff.

i don't think we got charlie anything since we had a party and i knew he was going to get tons of gifts. he got lots of loot but the stuff we played with the most was the laugh and learn playhouse and books!

We threw my LO a birthday party (those are expensive!) and bought him a play kitchen. A few days after his party, I felt really bad that we didn't get him more, even though he doesn't understand the concept of gifts. It doesn't help that we gave him the kitchen a month before his birthday because we were too excited.

We didn't get him anything for Christmas or birthday. I don't think we'll get LO presents for any holiday for a couple years... he gets SOOO much stuff from family members, if we were getting him presents too our house would explode.

I haven't decided yet. We're throwing a party ($$$) and I know she'll be getting gifts from people then. I think I might get her the Pottery Barn Kids chair...It's super cute. But I'm still thinking about it...

We threw a really big party, so that was his present. We decided not to get him a specific present... for this OR his second. I think starting his 3rd he'll actually understand the concept of presents so we'll have to start there

No LO yet, but we usually buy 1 year old kids a convertible tricycle and so far the parents say they really like it!

I am soo in love with it. But I don't know if I can justify the cost, even though I am sure it will become an heirloom.
