Hmm...I think maybe some candy and a card? but I know he got me a DVD and a card, and told me he loved me for the first time ever

A card and I made him a cookie cake. I remember we spent the day moving me and my old roommate into a new apartment.

Who knows!!!!! That was 9 years ago haha. I do still remember the flowers he got me.

Nothing! We were only 15 and had no money! haha. But he told me he loved me for the first time!

He mmade me a scavenger hunt in the dorms that lead to a vase with 100 pieces of paper saying reasons he loved me. He's kinda the romantic type...

I made home sugar free cupcakes and cookies. I put them in a cute little bucket along with some sugar free candy. (:
I am not a fan of flowers, so he gave me chocolate covered strawberries and pretzels, and because he insisted on giving me flowers, he gave me a chocolate rose too (:

I made him a pie and wrapped it up and dropped it off at his house. He was so thrilled.

I have no idea! I guess a card and maybe some candy? I do know that he gave me the sweetest card and a cute little plush puppy that is still next to the TV in our bedroom.

We had been dating a month and were really serious from the get-go, so I bought some naughty lingerie and after we went to dinner, and he gave me purple tulips (my fave), we did the deed for the first time, haha. I'll never forget it.

Our first VDay was the best!
DH was working offshore, and we skyped on VDay. He told me to point the laptop at the tv. I was like,"The tv is off..." He told me to do it anyway...Then he told me to get up and look behind the TV, so he could watch...I looked and there was a present back there that he had hidden before he left 2 weeks prior. It was a beautiful pair of earrings, but I totally swooned over the planning!
I had never had anyone do something so thoughtful and sweet for me:). It made me feel so special!
Fast forward to today, 5 years later, where he just walked into the nursery to hand me my coffee while I nurse, and he said,"You are having sex with me today." And walked out, lol...So I guess that's my VDay pres, lol! Not as much thought but that's ok!

@PrincessBaby: Seems like a fair trade for his heroic efforts yesterday with your ILs.

Thinking back I think we did something awesome. He took me out to Tiffany's for a heart necklace I was lusting over, then to a play, and finally for dinner at the Peninsula Chicago. I think that I gave him Pyrex dishes that year because I hated his dishes at his apartment.

@PrincessBaby: haha, I think I love your DH. My husband says that to me sometimes when we've been bogged down with baby sleep and stuff. Enjoy loud, baby waking sex in your own quiet home!

We went to dinner at this tiny little place near my old apartment, then we went to a cabaret show at a bar where I wrote on his hand 'now I know what love is' which would later become my tattOOPS. Here is a funny pic from that night, I love it because I look insanely happy and he looks evil

@Honeybee: Awwww! you've got a keeper
@twodoghouse: LOL - I have no response!
@PrincessBaby: *swoon* at your first one, and I'm laughing so hard at his "gift" for you today.
@bunnylove08: That pic is seriously adorable!!

On our first Valentine's Day, I got him a stuffed moose, chocolates, and a card. He got me a card and a bouquet of tiger lilies. We went out to eat at Ruby Tuesday's (we were still in high school so not a ton of money for a super fancy place). But the best part was that at the end of the night we said "I love you" for the first time and stood hugging under the stars for an hour or two.

@PrincessBaby: lol!
I can't even remember? Nothing?! A card? His birthday is a week before so I remember going all out for that.

@PrincessBaby: sweetheart: what he did yesterday with the folks should hold him over for awhile! Haha:))) and I hope you replied "F yeah!"
He got me a huge bouquet of roses and we went to dinner. Later that week he got me a little diamond necklace? And I was like "why didn't you just give this to me earlier on vday?" Apparently his mom found out all he got me were roses and she flipped out on him and told him to get his behind to a jewelry counter,pronto!
it's been jewelry (albeit simple) ever since.
This year he works late but we will def celebrate over the weekend.

Um, I have no idea?? Maybe a massage and dinner at my favorite resturant? I think that was our first one together! I got him clothes (badly needed!) haha

@Honeybee: OMG, we totally live parallel lives. Today I woke up to a beautiful card and my very favorite artisan chocolates (don't worry, I'll share!) and I got him nothing. Whoops!
I'll take him for a romantic (family) dinner in Hawaii!

We were freshman in college and broke and I made him homemade chocolate covered strawberries.
My favorite was the year he was away in tech school for the USAF. I sent him a care package full of random stuff: a pair of novelty boxers, a handmade Cthulhu plush toy, chocolates, naughty pictures of me and a jar that I decorated with glittery hearts and filled with pieces of paper that all had a different reason I loved him on them. We still have the jar, it's on the bookshelf in our living room.

@Mrs. Jacks: lol! I pre-ordered him season 2 of Game of Thrones for Christmas, but it didn't ship until today so I told him that was his gift. He got me a bird house, candy, and a really sweet card... not quite the same level...

I bought him this crazy soft and beautiful $190 blanket. What was I thinking?
There was a blanket his ex girlfriend made him on the bed at the time so I bought him a nice one to replace it. It is still on our bed today!
He bought me a tent.
Then we went to the beach cabin and almost missed the last ferry off the island! We would have had to stay the night and my parents would have grounded me. Good thing that didnt happen!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: that's an awesome story - winds like so much fun. I love that you got him the blanket.
