I have a BA in psychology. Worthless (in my experience) unless you continue on, pretty much. Then I went back to get my BSN and am currently getting my Master's in Advanced Nursing Practice. Hopefully this latest degree will be the one that will make it all worth it. I do love being a nurse, though floor nursing is taking a toll on me.

I have a BA in journalism.

I'm currently in marketing and communications for. Non-profit (grant writing, appeals, general marketing, social media, graphic design), and I freelance as a writer/editor.

I'm doing exactly what I always pictured myself doing! However, I am hoping to one day ditch the non-profit gig and be my own boss. I would like to freelance writing/editing/social media strategy and marketing on my own. It pays way more and I would love to work from home.

History, and I don't regret it for a second! I also majored in Philosophy, and that was also a great decision. It taught me how to write.

Zoology with a minor in Animal Science- zero regrets, without these, I would not have the job I currently have!

International affairs with minors in French and photography. I have definitely used the French the most since I used to work for a Swiss company and then the French government (so some international affairs too). But now I'm a translator, so definitely French!

Theatre... and I totally regret it. When I was 18, I didn't realize that Theatre is a hobby, not a job.

Im going to get my BSN too. You know, a degree that would actually get me a job.

History and English, masters in Secondary Education, post-grad Principal Certification. I'm fine with it, having a masters opened many doors for me in my career.

BA and MA in social work and I'm glad to have both. There are days when I wish I had majored in something else but I honesty can't picture myself in any other field of work.

BA in communications - journalism/pr and a masters in corporate communications. I work in marketing, so yeah, it worked out. I for sure am glad i didnt spend a gazillion dollars on journalism graduate school

I have a BA in communications & rhetorical studies with an emphasis on advertising. I Minored in psychology and art history, and have half a masters in multimedia. I didn't finish my masters degree.

Out of all my friends in the comm program, I know one person whose got a job in their field -- and he did go on to finish in MM degree.

The ad side of my degree translates into my business. The IP side doesn't as much. I'm regret not finishing but am mostly glad I didn't finish my MM degree. I love what I do and it would have been a waste of time and money for me.

BS and MS in Computer Science. TOTALLY worth it! Probably one of the best decisions I've ever made! I'm a Software Engineer and I both LOVE it and it pays well! Plus I met Hubs in Computer Science classes!

I wanted to major in English because I originally wanted to be an author. I'm glad my parents pushed me towards something more practical.

I majored in English and elementary ed. I work in elementary ed. I don't regret it, but it does make me sad to see the way things have changed in the <10 years I've been working. It makes me worry about what it will be like in another decade and beyond.

I have a BA in African American and American cultural studies, and a masters degree in social work.

I'm very happy with my decision. Particularly my undergrad major choices- they broadened my thinking about so many topics and have made me a significantly better social worker than I would have been otherwise. There was a lot of anthropology mixed in as well, which I think has really helped me as a therapist- helping people uncover the stories about themselves that will help change their situations feels a little like bearing witness to different cultures at times.

I do occasionally wish I'd gotten a masters in counseling, but that isn't about the MSW itself but the program I attended, which is heavily theoretical. I'm most interested in clinical work and I definitely had a lot of catching up to do. I've been fine, but still long for more education in that area. I attended the school i did for grad school because of location.

As a side note, my husband was pre med and majored in religion. His only regret is that he thinks it took him extra tries to get into med school because of the religion thing- he wasn't totally focused on med school from the first day of undergrad on. But he also believes that studying the humanities and learning about other cultures, as well as studying philosophy, helped him be a better, more empathetic and personable doctor in the end. And he's done extremely well in med school.

Economics. I have no particular regrets about how that path worked out, but I wish I'd had the aptitude to excel in math or physics. I really wanted to be an astrophysicist.

I majored in Communications, concentrating on Digital Media, and I work in that field. I'm really happy with my career choice, but I wish I had stuck with Computer Science as well and become a developer. Maybe some day in the future I will pursue becoming a self-taught developer. After the kids are in school?

I majored in Communication Arts and focused on TV/Video. It got me where I am today. I'm very happy with my choice.

Majored in Marketing, and honestly I wish I would have stuck with my first major of nursing. I regret choosing a desk job over helping people. If I didn't have DH & LO I would probably go back to school in the accelerated program, but at this point in my life I'm not willing to take time away from them to do it!

BA in Sociology and Criminology then a JD.

I don't like my career or career path so I guess I could say it didn't work out that well. But at the same time, I'm really glad I have the knowledge I do (particularly related to the sociology degree) because I think it shaped how I view the world, and I'm also really happy where I am in life which I don't think would have happened if I hadn't gone through the path I did and met the people I did.

Also I have no better ideas. If I could be assured I'd have still met my BFFs and my husband even without taking this path I guess I would major in something different to get a different job, but I honestly don't know what I'd like better so I have no idea what that would've been lol.

I majored in Fashion Merchandising before I dropped out due to lack of funds. While I would still love to open my own boutique, realistically it's probably for the best that I didn't end up getting the degree...there wouldn't be many jobs in my city I could use that degree for, and while I would have been willing to move if I hadn't met my husband, once I met him there was no way either of us would have moved for a job.
