    @Pepper: When are you starting your RN? I'm starting in the fall and planning to go for my BSN right away (the program I'm in is duel enrolled). I wish I could have done an accelerated BSN for those with a BS, but with LO there just wasn't a program close enough. Good luck!

    @LindsayInNYC: Yep! There's only a handful of schools in the US (5 or 6 last I checked...though this could have changed) that offer the major--one is in Wisconsin and one is in Michigan!

    @lavender: Hahaha, not many people have. It's a neat concept though--basically the design of...packages! We look at the material used to make a package (different films for example), the physical design of it, how it is displayed, shipped, distributed, etc.

    @ms.janedoe: Yep, they're both MSU grads! He worked for Crayola, she worked for Mars in the candy division. Now they both work for Mars in the pet division!

    @anbanan15: I'll be starting in the Fall too! I'm doing a ASN program, with the goal of getting my RN degree in two years, and finishing the BSN portion while I'm working. (My school offers the BSN classes online once you've completed your ASN and NCLEX).

    Good luck to you as well, kinda fun to find someone going at the same time!

    I majored in communications with an emphasis in journalism and minored sociology/crimonology.

    French and linguistics - went on to get a Ph.D. in French literature. My background definitely helped me get my first job in my field (higher ed IT support), but I don't really use it now.
