I think A is on the verge of growing out of his SwaddleMe blankets and I have been looking at the Halo Swaddle Sacks and have also heard good things about the Woombie.
What did you move to when you transitioned from a full on swaddle?

We used the halo swaddle sacks and then transitioned to the regular halo sleepsacks after that. We keep the house pretty cool at night, so I felt like he needed an extra layer. He still wears the sleepsack at 15 months.

We went to Halo Swaddle Sacks, arms in. Then swaddled arms out. Then to just a sleep sack.

@kiddosc: @Smurfette: Did you have them wear anything underneath the Swaddle Sack?

@kiddosc: Thanks-we have all these PJ's, but it is so warm here that we swaddle him in just his diaper since he was born, but if he isn't so tightly wrapped I think I would like him to have some PJ's on.

We went from Miracle Blanket to the Zipadee-Zip sleep sacks. DD had bad eczema on her cheeks and we needed her hands covered so she wouldn't scratch it. The zippy gave her the freedom of movement with some restriction (so it's not too startling) and it saved her from opening any eczema wounds.

She was right around 6 months and we went from an A&A wrapped in the double swaddle to A&A sleep sacks.

We went from SwaddleMe blankets to A&A sleepsacks. I like them because LO still sleeps in footed jammies and they're lighter than Halo sleepsacks.

Both my boys were swaddle junkies. We switched them from swaddles to Zipadeezips around 5 months old because even though they loved their swaddle, they were seriously breaking out of them. We tried going to a sleep sack but they did not like them. At 7 months, they're still loving the Zipadeezips.

We've been using the halo swaddle sleepsacks for a while, even though our LOs are almost the same age. Mine hates to have her feet confined so the sleep sacks work ok - she still kind of hates the swaddle but can't sleep a good stretch without it! I just put her in a onesie underneath it and she seems comfortable.

We switched to the halo swaddle sleep sacks - arms in and then arms out after she started being able to bust out (we used to zip the arms into the sack part and then velcro over that for a month or so). Now we still use the regular sleep sacks. Love them!

We switched to long-sleeved sleep sacks when he was a few weeks old. He hated being swaddled and loved having his arms free.

My LO was a swaddle addict and his Moro reflex still seemed to be pretty strong when we transitioned just after 4 months so we used the Magic Sleepsuit. It was awesome. We transitioned into a sleep sack 1.5 months later.

@Sammyfab: I just ordered one, so it's hood to see a favorable review.

We went to the halo sleep sacks and they have been great. We started with the kind that still has "arms" that you can fold around the belly for a swaddle feel. But now we just have a regular one. The transition was easy and he slept great. I thought it would be more of an issue because he loved being swaddled up to about 5 months.

We use the Halo swaddle sleep sacks. We do the full swaddle at night, and then just swaddle the wings over his belly for naps. When he's consistently rolling over we'll just use them like a sleep sack and leave his arms out. I really like them!
