My photo shoot is going to be taking place outside, in a few weeks. I live in Texas, so it probably won't be that cold. I don't know what to wear!
What did you wear? Did you like how the pictures came out? Would you wear something different if you were to do it again? I'm having trouble figuring out how to accentuate the shape but not feel self conscious at the same time.

I found a beautiful striped dress, knee-length that was ruched all the way down the sides so it really accentuated the bump - I loved it! I found it at Motherhood.
In other photos I wore white pants and a stripped, glittery sweater and the third outfit was skinny jeans with boots (I left the skinnies unbuttoned lol), and my dress-turned-into-shirt.
I loved my outfits. I think the ruched dress was my favorite for sure.

Oh, and nearly all my outfits were from motherhood! the only things there weren't were my jeans (pre-pg) and my white pants (also pre-pg, left unbuttoned!)
ETA: I think stripes REALLY helped accentuate the bump. Even in head-on shots you can see how the stripes curve to form a bump.

@highwire: I wore a sweater w/ jeans for the shots outside, and then I wore a bandeau bra w/ a maxi skirt for the indoor ones.

@Coco Bee: I actually have a striped sweater really similar to the one you posted, but I'm so conditioned that big horizontal stripes are a big "no-no" since they can make the subject look wide/larger, but that doesn't seem to be the case with you at all! So maybe I will give that sweater another peek.

@highwire: I think it does depend on the build of the person. I am not a "skinny" or thin person by any means, but I'm not overweight - however stripes look REALLY good on me. I go out of my way to purchase stripes. I love them. Just not the really small pinstripe-sized stripes... those never look good.

I was going to wear a dress, but hubs said I looked more obviously "cute bump" in pants and a top. The outfit was the look of what I've basically worn throughout the pregnancy. May as well keep it consistent!

I wore 2 dresses. One was navy and white stripes and the second was white maxi dress. Both are non maternity.

I wore 2 maxi dresses (changed halfway through) and a shorter skirt/ bikini top for belly shots. I honestly think the maxi dress made me look a lot bigger though, so I think a cute form fitting dress/top is the way to go!

I wore two outfits - a non-maternity maxi dress from Target was first and then I changed into jeans and a form fitting top (both maternity pieces) with a short-sleeve shrug over it. I was very self-conscious about my arms at that point so I knew I didn't want to do anything sleeveless. My photographer got some amazing silhouette shots with the maxi dress.
