In the first few weeks/months? I had assumed I would use the RnP until I saw the SIDS risk thread, now I'm curious what most people do!
Vote for more if you split time, but I'm asking mostly for overnight use. And let me know if I forgot a category!

Bassinet with an Angel Care monitor most of the time- in bed with us the rest!

Just commenting so I can come back and look. I've been thinking about getting an RnP - what is it about SIDS? Do you have a link to that thread/article?

Pack n Play bassinet! Not the fluffy "newborn napper" that came with the PNP!

It was the Snugabunny swing for the first couple of weeks and then we started using the crib because the little stinker wouldn't sleep in the bassinet!

i voted for 3 diff ones - RnP, co-sleeper, and in bed with us. if there was an "in my arms" option i would've voted that too.
he's 5-wks now... planning to move him to crib soon!

Bouncy seat, mostly. Pediatrician said it was fine, and the vibration seemed to help, as did the incline!

RNP and in bed with us for 8 weeks. Then a PNP until we switched him to his room around 5-6 months.

Her mamaroo swing. It kept her at an incline since she has reflux. Originally we had a RNP, but while she was in the hospital I had my parents pick up a bassinet for us bc the RNP didn't look so sturdy. In the end, the bassinet was only used a few times..

He slept in a travel bassinet inside his crib and graduated to full crib at two months or so.

I plan to use the RNP at night only, combined with a co-sleeper in between us in bed (http://www.amazon.com/Baby-Delight-Snuggle-Beige-White/dp/B005TI3NJS/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1364666288&sr=8-14&keywords=co-sleeper). I don't think the RNP poses any more risk than having the baby in a car seat or swing. During the day we'll use the PNP and swing and hold/wear them. We're going to use a Snuza Halo too, which will hopefully cut down on the SIDS risk as well.

We used the RnP for the first week but she likes the napper in the PnP better. Still use the RnP and he crib for naps. She is almost three weeks.

For DS, the Arms Reach co-sleeper but I never had the side down and never kept it by the bed. That was for nearly two months. When he wasn't sleeping in that, he slept on me or in a swing or chair (don't know the brand or anything, both are long gone). Then we switched to a cradle at night and the co-reach for day time naps until he outgrew the co-reach at about three or four months. Cradle until six months. Then crib from then on and he's 14 months now.
With current LO, it's the raised bottom part of our PnP during the day and the co-reach at night if I'm lucky. If I'm not lucky (at night) then she's on my chest. I'm sleeping on the couch every night just to get some sleep.

We use this cosleeper and love it! http://www.amazon.com/Summer-Infant-Sleeper-Portable-Bedding/dp/B005ASKQ42/ref=pd_sbs_ba_2

We used the pack n play in our room the first month or so, then at about 5 weeks moved her to her crib in her room.

He sleeps and naps in the rnp next to our bed. He's 8 weeks and he's just now starting to (slowly) transition to the crib. I'm not worried about SIDS since he sleeps next to us. He can move his head freely.

We had the pack n play with the bassinet attachment in our room for the first 12?14? weeks...then moved to her floor bed in her room.

We have a mini arms reach co sleeper ready for our little guy when he arrives.

The poll is so interesting. I don't know why I had it in my head that everyone on HB used the RNP! We're registering for a Pack N Play with bassinet attachment so maybe we'll try that? Maybe I should consider getting a bassinet though from all these responses...

@knittylady: We are going to use the Pack n Play. Keep in mind the attachment is not a bassinet, it's a "napper" - you aren't supposed to have them sleep in that. The bassinet is actually just having the mattress/bottom of the PnP at "raised" level instead of at the bottom. I started a bunch of threads a while ago on sleeping in the PnP instead of bassinet and seems lots of people do that without issue
For us it's just more economical for money and space to not have an extra item/piece of furniture we'll only use for a couple of months.

For the most part he slept in our bed. It wasn't our plan but was the only way we he'd sleep. When he was 2-3 months ins we were sometimes able to transfer him to the PnP after he was asleep but half the time he immediately woke up. We moved him to the crib at 6 or so months (and had to sleep train to do it).
