Arms reach cosleeper was the plan. In reality she preferred our bed. At around 3-4 months we moved her to the cosleeper and then at five months to her crib once she started sitting up in the cosleeper

LO slept in her PnP in our room for the first seven months, initially in the bassinet portion and then the normal PnP as she got older. Worked perfectly and that's what we'll do with Baby #2 as well.

Bassinet for 8 weeks in our room, and then into the crib in his nursery he went.
We all slept much longer and more soundly.

LO slept in a bassinet in our room for the first 3 months, until he got a little too big for it. It was nice in the very beginning, because we would move it to the living room so he could take his naps there (around 1.5 months or so we started having him nap in his crib to get used to it, though).

Another arms reach cosleeper user here! We used it from birth to 5.5 months when she went in her own room & crib.

mini arm's reach co sleeper! DS snoozed in there until he was 4 1/2 months, then we moved him to his crib & nursery

He slept in our bed the first 6 weeks. After that, he slept in his crib in our room until 2 months, when we moved from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom.

She currently sleeps usually in her swing or pack n play in the living room until 1am (DH is a night owl, so he stays out there with her), then he brings her into our room to eat while I lay in bed. Sometimes I move her to her bassinet... sometimes she just stays in the bed with us.

Rock n play, then arms reach cosleeper. He usually ends up in our bed by 6 am though, that's where he sleeps the best. Once he outgrows the cosleeper, I'm going to transition him to his crib in his room.

@Crisark: how does sleeping with Boppy work? I'm intrigued. Is your LO just propped up on it?
LO's grandpa made a darling little wooden cradle for all the babies in out family and it gets passed on. She slept in it for the first four weeks in our room. Like some of the PPs, DH and I just couldn't sleep well with all those little baby noises. It's amazing how loud a little girl can be! We moved her to her crib last week at 4 weeks. I'm a little nervous because we don't have a monitor yet but she's only a few steps down the hall. We are all sleeping better!

arm's reach co-sleeper, the newborn bassinet that came with our pack n play, and the bassinet to our uppababy stroller. she went through a lot of sleeping options before we put her in her crib at 10 weeks.
