    We're celebrating 3 in October. We've tossed around a couple ideas such as getting tattoos or spending the night in London and going to see Les Mis.

    @sandy: Where is this?? Looks so unique and pretty, enjoy!!

    Our 2nd anniversary is tomorrow. No plans. We will both work all day and then DH has class until 9 and I will be home with DS on bed time duty. Good times! I wish we were doing something special but maybe this weekend we can make something happen. Ideally, I'd like to be in Miami & Key West like we were this time last year for our 1st anniversary, but unless we won the lottery that's not happening

    We're celebrating our 2 year anniversary next week! We won't do much, probably just go to dinner. We are taking an anniversary trip but not until September.

    Last year we took our anniversary trip in December to Disney World (which is so much fun!!).

    @petunia354: it's called Cave B Inn and it's in Quincy, WA...they have a main lodge, cliffhouses, cavern rooms (built into a cave) and the desert yurts...there is a spa, winery and restaurant too. The concert is in an outdoor venue called The Gorge.

    @mrsjazz: that sounds like a ton of fun! Not. What about taking LO to the zoo or something? Then can mom watch LO for a few hours while you guys go out to dinner?

    We had planned to see Blake Shelton but my mom backed out on baby-sitting and DH wasn't that keen on it anyway.

    I'm thinking of suggesting a day like yours, I think DH would love a day to ourselves!

    @regberadaisy: Actually, we decided to send LO to the BBQ with my mom and head to a restaurant in the neighborhood (DUMBO). Our nanny will be off for 3 weeks and we don't have a babysitter, so we'll take the 3 hour solo time next week.

    @septemberlove: do it! That was DH's one request that we take it easy.

    @mrsjazz: perfect!!

    @regberadaisy: We're anniversary twins too! Woohoo to 3 years! Your day sounds so nice! We're just doing drinks and dinner, but I'm looking forward to it! Happy Anni!

    DH was away for training. Such is the life of a military family. We celebrated with dinner and malts a month later. Next year is our 5th and we are going to Mexico

    @regberadaisy: heya date twin!

    We are doing dinner at a fave local restaurant of ours (w/a gift card). And having inlaws pick up LO, and feed/bathe/ put her to bed for us.

    We'll be celebrating our 3rd in September, and no plans yet. I've been somewhat thinking about it for awhile since DS will be 2 months then. Nice dinner would be great, but usually nice places aren't a great place for babies, and we don't have family in town. Not sure I'm ready to leave him with a babysitter just yet!

    @lavender: @betsyboop: yay for date twins!!!

    @Alivoo01: we were in a similar spot last year. We made a fancy dinner at home!

    We have our 3rd in November. We haven't really talked about it but I am already planning on asking my parents to watch R overnight. It will probably be the first overnight babysitting. We will just stay in town and go to dinner. I really would love to get a hotel room, so it feels like we are getting away.

    @regberadaisy: Did you do/get anything special for your hubby? Year 3 is leather so I want to get him a nice leather wallet, but am clueless on what to get. And I can't exactly go to the mall with a newborn. In addition to the gift, I'd love to do something else for DH.

    @Alivoo01: we decided this year not to do gifts and go back to it next year. So our day together will be our gift to each other.
    That being said I was eyeing the UP styled photo album on Etsy!

    I also really like this leather bracelet:

    If he's a artist type I've also gotten this leather sketchbook for a friend. It's handmade and really nice!
