I was just at the hardware store and E dropped his paci (what I usually call it) and the guy behind the counter called it a binky, and then another woman corrected him and said it was a soother.
What do you call it?
ETA: DH calls it a binky!

I am still trying to figure out what my daughter is calling it. She calls it a "ByeBice"? I can't tell what shes trying to pronounce.

I voted marshmallows because I call it a pacifier, a paci, a sucker, and if I had a wubanub i'd call it that too

Binky here! It's whatever anyone wants to call it though! I use binky, but my in-laws use paci, and my parents use something totally off the mark hahaha....

We called it a pacifier, but I don't know if my vote really counts since we didn't use it very long, so we didn't really have time to see if we would have developed a nickname for it

LO isn't here yet but I always call them "paci". My best friend calls them nook/nookers because she mostly uses the Nuk brand (or at least did at one point and it stuck!).

I call it a pacifier because I hate the word "paci". My parents and all sorts of 60-70 year olds we've run into call it a "nook" (not sure how they would spell it, but sounds like nook) - my parents say that a nook was what pacifiers were called when I was little (??)
My MIL calls it a chubone (not sure how to spell it, but it sounds like: choo-bone), which I'm guessing is Spanish for pacifier??

As a child, I called it a bo-bo (like a bow on a present). My mom has no idea why.
A lot of my friends call it a nook (that's a brand name, right?), and family calls it a paci/binky.

Typically just "Monkey" or "Majmun" (monkey in Albanian) because she has the monkey wubbanubs.

My daughter tried to say "paci" but it came out "fuffy." So now it is fuffy. DS has started to call it "fuffa," which I can only assume is his interpretation of fuffy which is DD's interpretation of paci!

i call it a paci but dh and his family have always called it a jibby. for some reason that word doesn't sit well with me and i've banned it from my house. haha.

We say Paci or Binky usually but my brother and his wife call it a Noopie . I think it came from Nuk (which is what my mom calls it) and Nookie and somehow the k became a p. LOL.
