@Cherrybee: I spent a few years in the UK as a kid, and that's what we always called my little brother's. Now I alternate between dummy and pacifier.

We call it his Bink! Binky too. We call his wubbanub by the animal name or we call it a bink.

Pacifier. I grew up with cousins who had stupid little baby names for everything that lasted until they were teenagers, and it has made me completely paranoid about using any of the typical baby nicknames or shorthand for objects, lol.

@autumnlove: I hate the word binky.

We call it a paci (usually me) or a nuk (usually Hubs). We call his wubbanub "wubby" (rhymes with looky).

@blackbird: I totally want to give Wubby an actual name, but we'll wait till D can name it himself.

Binky. It's DD's favorite word. When she hears it she runs into her room to her crib b/c that's where we leave the binkies during the day. Then she cries when she realizes we didn't say the word b/c we were offering her one!

I just call it a "thing" as in, where's Lady M's thing? Ha! Or I'll just say pacifier. I don't really like all the little cutsy nicknames for it.
