Ours got nicknamed "Lump" because that's what it looked like to us on the 8-week ultrasound. My mother didn't like the nickname (because of the association with cancer), so she's taken to calling it Lumpkin instead.

@hellocupcake: Heehee, now that's stuck in my head. I sometimes find myself singing that to my bump in the shower.

We call it Stormy/Stormageddon/Little Stormy, haha. 5 points for who gets the reference! Otherwise, it's just the Baby until wet find or the gender.

@zippylef: DH called ours "the parasite" off and on. On his FB announcement he even wrote that [I] had a parasite inside of me that would exit the body naturally sometime in early August, and then included a screen cap from the scene in Alien(s?) where the alien is popping out of the guy's chest....
Otherwise, we called him by whatever fruit/veg he was that week "the sweet pea, the blueberry, the lemon" etc. For a bit he was Frances (we were TG), then McBaby, and finally we settled on McBebe.

Since my due date is so close to Halloween we originally called her "pumpkin seed" but have been calling her by her name since we found out the sex.
The goat thing is really funny.

we started with gummy and then Caterpillar...we found out gender at the NT scan so we have been calling him by his name since then...

We call her "Dot," which originated from DH shortening "daughter." It's really stuck - I wonder if we will be able to switch to calling her by her real name!

I called my first Bunny or Bun and um, she's 7 and we still call her that LOL (she has a real name too, but that nickname really stuck)

we called LO 'nug' and still do although now its usually snug because he is such a cuddler.

I'm glad so many others just stick with "baby" or "little one." We never came up with any cute nicknames and I was feeling a little guilty about it.
