I call him Babe.
@chopsuey119: We used to make fun of my co-worker all the time because she calls her hubby Oppa and we (all non-Korean) were like that's incestuous

@mrsjazz: HAHA it's a Korean thing! You call any older guy you're close to "oppa!"

@chopsuey119: I know, I know! She explained it to us but it's still funny! She married her brother :P!

If I am holding the baby I call him Daddy. But, usually I call him babe, honey, or his "nick" name. I never call him by his full name, like ever.

I call him Babe, Honey, and the first syllable of his name...which I think he doesn't really like--- but that's what I call him 90% of the time.

We have a million names for one another, the main two are hons or bitches. (started out as a joke but all these years later, it's stuck & fits us heh).

babe, honey, hun, or his first name. Every now and then I will call him honey bear when I am feeling especially loving.

Babe! Almost exclusively, i never call hi by name. When LO is nearby i say dada
GOLD / grapefruit / 4555 posts
Usually his first name but babe makes a regular appearance, as does hon and sweetie. Sweetie is usually when I'm on my last rope with him though. I'm afraid even though my 'nicknames' sound affectionate, they usually aren't intoned that way.
pear / 1693 posts
His first name, babe, honey, honeybear, his last name. Probably lots others.
wonderful pea / 17279 posts
Babe or his first name when I need his attention or he is in trouble.

I call him by his first name with an occasional "honey". He has always called me MT, which were my initials until we got married, but MT I will remain for life.
pomegranate / 3244 posts
Oh man, so many nicknames. Usually his name with -ito added to the end, or nene (babe in spanish). But tons more made up ones, depends on the mood

Babe or Paul. I'll call him Pauly-wog when we're visiting the in-laws since husband is a third and my FIL also goes by Paul. My MIL and I sometimes sound similar so the poor guys get all mixed up. I only ever use his full name when he's in trouble since he hates his first name.
He usually calls me Hon or very occasionally by my name.
bananas / 9118 posts
We usually just go by first names, not too big on pet names. "Hey you" also works or "oh father of my child(ren)" if he's acting immature it's his old college nickname "ok, Hoffdog- whatever!"

Baby, sweetie, hon.... If DH is really been sweet he'll call me "lovie" - cheesy, I know.
nectarine / 2600 posts
Another "babe" here. It's what we usually call each other. I use it so much, I sometimes feel weird when I use his real name! lol Is that weird?
