DH and I are very lucky and usually get a date night once a week. My parents will take LO and the pup to dinner so we can go out too. But by the time we leave and have to be home for LO's bed time we really can't do much, we always just go to dinner. One time I really want to see a movie! I'm sure my mom won't mind putting LO to bed

We do date night after bed time (but C still goes down early - before 7 - so that is pretty doable for us. Dinner is usually our plan, and occasionally a party or a bar (although I have much less patience for them now that I have a constant 6 am wake up call with C)

Before I was pregnant, we were a little more interesting. We loved going to local happy hours, or taking the bicycles out to our favorite pub for pints and board games. We would often go to late movies, or grab gelato and browse a bookshop. If we wanted to do something more active, we'd play bocce ball, or skee ball. During the summer, we love Shakespeare in the Park, or twilight concerts on the beach.
Now that I'm 36 weeks, I'm lucky if I make it to 9pm. We usually just go out to an early dinner, and then grab a movie from redbox to watch at home. We've been enjoying more "day dates" lately - picnics, walks, visiting the farmer's market, berry picking up the coast....that way, I'm actually awake for our bonding activities.

My parents take LO every other Friday for overnight. We usually go out to dinner, sometimes we hit a bar first (or after), or see a movie. Sometimes we stay in, make something special and watch movies and stay up late!! We mostly go to non-child friendly places or try out new restaurants. We also have friends over, make all sorts of cocktails and tapas, stay up late. Stay up late is sort of a theme of our date nights; feels like the "old days"!

Only had 2 date nights in the 8 months since lo arrived, both times we got take out for an early dinner and went to a movie, we were home by 9pm both times.

My adult cousin will babysit for us 1-2 times a month. I'll nurse him & then she does the bedtime routine. We mostly just go out for dinner and are home by 9ish. Someday we'll do something more exciting!

I love going out for a dinner and drinks...there is one place I love and we go there 90% of the time. Sometimes we get drinks and go to a comedy show. We also do a double date with friends of ours and get dinner/drinks together
