In terms of exercise you can continue throughout pregnancy, I'm a great believer in walking! As part of managing my GD I've been trying to take two walks a day (only short but I've swallowed a basketball!) and I'm really enjoying them! I particularly like the walk I take once LO is in bed for the evening (it's Summer in NZ so it's nice and cool in the evening).
