DH's friend had surgery and is homebound, so he left to go hang out with him. C is in bed. Me? Im enjoying a large glass of wine and am about to draw myself a lovely bubble bath and read a book on my ipad.
Thats generally my MO when DH is gone for the night, bath, book, glass of wine, go to bed early.
What do you do?

Pretty much the same! Once LO is in bed, I'll have dinner (I hate eating super early!), have a nice glass or two of wine, watch something my husband doesn't like watching and usually paint my nail or do a home pedicure. I also like to do facials; mostly I just veg!

Last night I had the night to myself so I had Chinese while watching bad tv then I promptly fell asleep at like 8:30. 8:30! I'm such a loser

@grizz: I sometimes play Sims Freeplay on my ipad as a mindless activity while breastfeeding. I remember during the first 6 weeks or so I sometimes felt jealous of the Sims who were sleeping. Oy!

So embarrassing, but true...I play with my nursery floor plan. I painstakingly measured and adjusted to fit on paper the two potential rooms for the nursery and cut out furniture based on their product dimensions online. I can spend hours rearranging furniture layouts and adding wall art and accessories to each nursery and toddler room version.

Last night hubby went to a bar with our friends and I'm in that horrible eight week stage where no one knows but I feel too tired to fake it. I lay about on the couch, read a book, watched some trashy tv and went to bed. It was bliss!

I usually try to make plans myself, I get so bored if I'm home alone! If I don't have plans, I will usually hang out on HB!! The bath and book thing always sounds appealing, but no sooner than I'm in the bath I'm bored and want to get out! I need to learn to relax!!

I either read outside on the deck, or watch Party of Five. Ever since I discovered its on amazon prime tv, it's been a major time suck! I've even got my husban watching it... I'm trying to convince him we need to bring back flannel & doc martens.
