I want to dress DS up (he'll be 5 months) just because it's so cute. But where will he go? He's too young for trick or treating, right?

Our son was only 3 months last year and we totally dressed him up! (just in a glow-in-the-dark skeleton sleeper, but it was still super cute.) He had fun checking out the trick-or-treaters.

@mrsbookworm: Our local moms group is doing a costume parade for a retirement home! I'm excited about it

@scg00387: awww! What a nice idea! We dressed up DD and took her to our friends house for a BBQ lol

I took E trick-or-treating with my SIL and nieces. He had on a cow costume, and slept the whole time. It was really just a walk for us, though...he wasn't asking for candy, obviously (he was almost 3 months old).

@scg00387: love this idea! I think I will propose this to my moms group!

We went to church (fall festival) and my husband's job had a Halloween event.

We dressed him up like a monkey, and he crawled around on a blanket on our driveway while we handed out candy and drank beer.

We're dressing up our LO who will be 5 months, he'll just hang out with us while we pass out candy, and my parents will probably stop by. That's pretty much it. IMO trick or treating before they're able to eat the candy or even walk is fairly ridiculous, but I know people who have done it.

DS will be 7 months and I'm dressing him up. We won't be going anywhere but it will be cute for pictures.

This Halloween LO is still brewing, but next Halloween he/she will be about 8 months. We love Halloween, so baby will likely be an accessory to one of our costumes (a banana for DH's gorilla costume, a sheep if I'm Little Bo Peep, etc). No special walks or anything, but I like the costume parade for the nursing home idea! Otherwise LO will just tag along with us to whatever friends' home we go to.

My LO will be under 3 months so I am not sure what we are doing with her. I have a costume and I was thinking of going to a couple neighbors and grandparents houses. Maybe I'll take along with my SIL and her kids for a bit.
I can't wait to see all the cute Halloween pics posted here!

We dressed DD up (as Cinderella!) and took her to visit a couple of our neighbors. Otherwise we just had her with us when we handed out candy. After she was asleep we were outside with the monitor and I was so surprised how many kids asked us what the monitor was (video) and if that was a real baby sleeping in there. lmao!

We're going to dress her up and probably just join up with a group of parents/kids walking around our complex - we won't technically trick or treat but just join in the fun. Maybe we'll have a playdate that afternoon.
A few years ago our neighbor came by trick or treating with his baby and held out a bag so I could give him candy! Are you for real? It must be nice to use your baby so you can get free candy. Wait - maybe I should try that!

My SIL dresses up her kids and just takes them to friends and family houses.
I don't know what I'm going to do with DD yet... she'll be 9 months

@mrsbookworm: M was 8 months last year and we put her in a costume mainly for pictures. Then one of DH's cousin got her a Halloween outfit she wore for daycare and grandma got her a Halloween sleeper!
