Hellobee Boards

We are going to have some first time visitors next month, and I'm so excited! We live in a European capital with lots of tourist attractions, so we'll probably hit up a number of them. Depending on how long guests stay, I always suggest at least one of the major museums, the palace, a walk around the city center, a ride on the tram, at least one decent restaurant, and then if the people have kids, either the zoo or the aquarium or possibly a carriage ride. My guests will be here when the Christmas markets are open, so I'm sure we will check out those too.

I live in NY, so I never ever ever do any touristy things unless with visitors!

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: if they were coming to my area at this time of the year (I'm in Virginia) it would be some kind of farmers market/apple orchard/pumpkin patch.
We have a nice old town area with a walking mall that is really nice year round. Restaurants, shops, neat buildings.
We also have a nice, small, museum about the history of our area if people are history buffs and a really cute kids museum if visitors had kids.
