This question came up on a 2 year questionnaire that I'm currently filling out for daycare (sidenote: um, what?? When did 2 years (almost) happen?)
My answer:
His love of letters and numbers (which pleases both his bookworm/grammar nerd mother and math-geek father) and his strong will. It's difficult to get him to do something he doesn't want to do, and thought it can be frustrating now, I think it'll be a great asset as he grows...he won't be easy to push around

After they eat when they pass out on my shoulder, all snuggly and warm. The way Blake's eyes light up when I get him out of his bassinet to eat in the middle if the night. When I unvelcro Alice's swaddleme to change her diaper in the night and she purses her lips and stretches her arms up over her head. They are 5 weeks old so their other skills are kind of limited.

There are so many things I enjoy about my LO but most of all I love how incredibly easy going she is...she is such a good girl and makes my job being a mom so easy. She is so loving and has so much fun wherever we go or whatever we do.

I love how easy it is to make her laugh and her wide smile when she sees me or her daddy. I also love how hard she works when she is working on new skills (currently standing and cruising).

I love her curiosity and deep empathy for others. It amazes me that empathy and care can be so present in someone less than 2 years old. I also love her independence; I'd rather have a child who questions than one who follows orders lock-step. She is also so loving; she holds my hand all the time (and not because I ask, quite the opposite! She's always asking me to hold her hand!!)

Gosh absolutely everything about her. But to highlight a few things: the way she runs into my arms grinning, the way she snuggles up to me in bed when we sleep, her hilariously impish sense of humour, how she blows raspberries on my belly and cracks us both up. I am so thankful for her.

I love his sweetness and his happy go lucky attitude. I love that when he smiles it's a big giant grin. I love that he just started reaching for me. And I live for his giggles - seriously my favorite sound in the world.

Her wide-eyed enthusiasm and excitement for life. How she already has such a distinct and beautiful personality emerging at not even 5 months old. How she knows exactly who I, her mama is, and gives me smiles and looks and love meant just for me. Really everything about my little girl!

His giggles, the noise he makes when he's super exited about eating, the way he *LOVES* our dogs, when he waves and yells 'HI!!!!' at our neighbors when I'm running with him in the stroller. I love everything about him

I love how much she loves people (and animals). She greets everyone with such enthusiasm. It's a trip for me because I'm shy on the shy side.
That and she giggles hilariously when it's time to nurse.

My son just started laughing yesterday. As every parent who has been there before me knows, it is THE. BEST. THING. EVER. My husband does the most ridiculous things to make him laugh, I love it.

He has such a big, open heart, and an infectious smile! He loves every dog or cat he sees, recently he coos even at insects or when he sees a picture of a baby. He puts his head on our shoulders and is always willing to give a hug or kiss. He has a sense of humor and likes being ”in” on the joke with us. I my beautiful guy!

DS: His curiosity!! I love it- he has to be in the middle of everything! I also really love how he'll just walk up and give me kisses- it melts my heart.
DD: I adore the way that her eye light up when I walk into the room. She's such a happy girl! The way that she loves her brother (especially when he's climbing all over her) also kills me!

She's delightful! When she's not trying to lay down in the middle of a grocery store isle, she's pretty well-behaved. She's snuggly and a little mischievous, too. We think that's how toddlers are supposed to be

DS: I love how his mind works, he is really interested in the world around him and is always asking questions. He's also very kind to other children, is a lovely big brother, and is so darn cute I still can't get over it.
DD: so far she's an incredibly calm and easy going baby, but when she's fed up, she lets you know it. She is a very cuddly baby which I love because DS wasn't a cuddly baby at all. She also has the sweetest little face when she's dreaming.

His determination and drive to try and figure everything out. He's so adventurous and excited about life. I also absolutely adore the multiple times each day when he comes up and says "kiss Mama?" and kisses me before he moves on to the next adventure.
