I think if you want to show support for the confederacy, you can hang it at your house, bumper sticker or t-shirt. It's your right. Though, I know I would roll my eyes if I saw it.
It should be taken down from government buildings though. I don't think it's appropriate.

@travellingbee: I def see where you are coming from, and I really swear that I'm not a supporter of the flag bc it really does represent racism more than it represents history. But, if we are saying that these people can't have the flag at the memorial, then why have the memorial in the first place? From my perspective i see this flag everywhere. My state even allows you to get confederate flag tags for your car. I guess I just feel like focus should be placed on other things before the memorial. But everyone def has different perspectives of how this whole thing has occurred.

Just got this breaking news email...
The South Carolina Senate has passed a bill that would remove the Confederate flag from capitol grounds.
The measure passed by a 36-3 vote, and the bill now moves to the House.
