I've got two:
BFA in dance: nope (well, I teach dance but could do that without a degree). Some call the Bachelof of Fine Arts (BFA) a 'bachelor of f- - - all. But I knew that going in.
B.Ed: yep, it's my career and you can't be a teacher without one

Yes I use it! I have a BS in Biology that helped me get into grad school and now I practice with my doctorate... but only 3 days/week... I still think it was worth it!

i have a degree in both education & history, but i don't use either. i'm now a photographer, and hope to be a sahm when lo arrives. i think my education degree will help raising our lo, but it probably wasn't worth $80,000.

I have a BS in Finance and an MS in Information Systems. I worked as a Project Manager for a bank. Now I am a SAHM but I've also completed a certificate in Montessori education for ages 2.5 to 6 and I use that a lot in my day to day.

I'm working on a phd in the same field I got my BA in (and now I have an MA too), so it's relevant to my current work for sure! we'll see if I get a job though in a few years when I'm done--the academic job market is horrible

I have a BS in biology/zoology. I did use it when I was working as a high school biology teacher. I often feel like I live in a house full of monkeys so maybe that zoology part is still coming in handy.

@mrsjazz: Yay, another MFA! Such a rare thing to find online outside of writing forums. Good luck with your poetry.

I have a BA in Communication and an MS in Human-Computer Interaction (which I'm guessing no one's heard of). I work at a software company as a User Experience Designer (I'm guessing no one's heard of that either!) which uses my degree. Basically I design software to make it user friendly.

@Mrs. Tricycle: I have a BS in biological psychology and a BA in English (fiction writing emphasis)-- so I don't think your combo is random! I also have an MPH in infectious disease, a masters in Health Services and an MD. I use them all on a daily basis, but especially the English major since I write so much for work.

I have a BA in Political Science with a minor in Business. While I did work in politics in DC for awhile, once I moved back to Oregon I focused more on the business side. I run strategic planning for a community hospital which uses a little of both degrees, but also requires a lot I never learned in college, and I own my own wedding planning business, which uses some of my business/mktg degree. I've thought about getting my masters but I'm moving up quickly without it, so why spend the money?

I have both an Associate's Degree & Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with Marketing focus. I have been working in the marketing field for just over 6 years now (ever since graduating with the associate's degree.) So both degrees have been put to use.

I have a BS in Management Information Systems and I use it (to a degree) in my career currently as a project manager. I used it more when I worked for one of the Big 4 as an IT auditor, but it still comes in handy. Mostly it's taught me how to be a sponge, soaking up information and thinking critically under pressure.
