We're moving to a new city, and I was talking to a girl who lives there and she was so excited to tell me that they're getting a Wegman's. I was like uh.. okay? Grocery store, cool. But, I guess now I understand why she was so excited to share the news.

I love Wegmans, but it's a madhouse on the weekends. If you can stick to the basics, or your grocery list, it's awesome - and well-priced. Our local paper recently priced a sample grocery list and Wegmans came out on top as the cheapest.
But their specialty stuff - cheese, olives, the bakery, prepared items - is fabulous. And that's where they get you!

Best place ever!!! My husband grew up with Wegmans and I love it so much since first going! We got married in Upstate NY and put Wegmans as one of the suggested places to see on our wedding website!!! It's that good and everyone who goes to one was amazed!! My DH and I constantly wish for Wegmans to expand down to Texas and never miss an opportunity to go to one when we are on the East Coast!!

I am so excited about the Brooklyn Wegmans news! It is, hands-down, my favorite supermarket ever. Amazing overall selection, extensive produce selection, great wine/beer shop, intoxicating bakery and one of the best prepared foods departments I've seen. I am not embarrassed to say that a typical Saturday night for us includes a trip to Wegmans for dinner and then doing our food shopping afterwards. Ours has an electric train which runs around the ceiling of the store and LO looks forward to going every time. We make an event of it.
