Hellobee Boards

There isn't much I love about our kitchen. It has granite and I loved it when we first moved in, but now I think the color is really dated. I like white cabinets, but ours are original to our 1947 house, so they're just really old and not super functional - the plates are too big and the doors don't shut, there's no real silverware drawer so at first we had it in a cabinet, now we have a free standing island with proper drawers. The floor is awful. It's tile, but the grout has chipped and I can't ever get it to look clean. The appliances are stainless steel, but they're like the cheapest ones. We have an electric stove and I'd so much rather have gas. Our laundry is basically in a closet in our kitchen, which I hate. I'd rather have it in a closet in the hallway or in my dream house, have a real separate laundry room. Our kitchen is completely closed off from the rest of the house. It used to have a door, but we took it off as soon as we moved in. One day, we hope to add on and renovate the kitchen, opening it up to the living/dining areas.

We're in a rental so there is plenty to dislike:
Brown everywhere!! (Tile, cabinets, countertops)
Very small
Lack of storage
No side by side fridge
