I recently posted about a friend who's mother was very ill.... and unfortunately she has passed away The Jewish tradition is to send a donation to a charity. Since she passed away from cancer, we would send a donation to something that would go towards finding a cancer cure, or a local hospital for cancer patients, etc. But they're not Jewish, and I know most other people send flowers.

Personally, I'd rather send a donation in her honor because, well, flowers die. But is that weird? Should I just stick with flowers? I need some non Jewish people's perspective!
