i like Graham better than Hutch too

It makes me think of furniture!

Hutchinson is a highway where I used to live... I like Graham!

Not my cuppa. I like Holden though.

Second (or third, whatever! :)) the suggestion for Holden. I love that name.

@polkadots: I think you and I have similar names on our list! I am not a fan of Hutch, but I love Graham (using this for DS #2) and Archer! I also really like the name Holden that people have suggested.

Makes me think of the nickname for the Hutchinson Parkway. I wouldn't use it.

Hutch sounds like a cute nickname that you might call someone, but not be introduced as it. Like if my name is Rachel and people call me Rache, but I wouldn't introduce myself as Rache to anyone.

I prefer Huck to Hutch. I also prefer Hutchings to Hutchinson.

Knowing your DD is named Sawyer, when I hear Hutch, I think Huck, and then think of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. That could be a neat commonality for siblings, or you might prefer to avoid that association. I think it would be absolutely adorable to have a sibling set of Sawyer and Finn.

If you like the H sound, I might also suggest Hugh or Hugo. If you like the ch sound, maybe Mitch or Dutch or at the beginning like Charles or Chester.
Or combining both like Haymitch.

I think Archer and Graham are both good options because they are surnames like Sawyer.

I had a co-worker we called Hutch since his last name was Hutchinson, I don't mind it by any means.

On a similar note, one of our runners up for #2 was Harris with a full name of Harrison. I get a similar vibe from that one

I like hutch, but I dislike the combination of Hutch and Finn. Too close to Huckleberry Finn.

Yeah I would prefer Huck to Hutch. I do really like Archer and Graham.

@polkadots: I want to like it, but something I can't put my finger on is keeping me from it. I do really really love Archer and Graham! What about Hudson, Holt, Holden (my top choice for a second boy!), Hunter, Harrison, or Hank?
Or Asher, Griffith, Reid, Liam, Knox, Gibson, Wyatt, Lincoln, Emmett, or Everett?

I like Archer! I never felt 'in love' with any names and we waited until LO was born to pick one!

@lemondrop: I've always really liked Harrison but have never considered that nn (since Harry isn't really my cup of tea.) Love it when anyone opens my eyes to a great name or nn!!! (anddddd now I have to have 101 kids for all the names I love!)
