I don't have a visceral reaction to the word, but I do think it is thrown around a little too nonchalantly/casually. I don't like to use the word, and although I try not to be easily offended, I don't like to hear it used to describe someone, no matter how accurate the description may be.

I must confess to using the word to verbalize my frustrations when I am alone and stuck in traffic (I live in a fairly large city, and lost out-of-towners who jack up traffic because they won't commit to their navigation errors makes.me.tick!), although it is just to myself, and it is certainly not the only curse word thrown around in my car. *blush* Now that butterbean can hear me, though, I definitely try to tone it down.

I hate how it is used in the title of those shows as well. It is just not necessary to me.

I don't like to curse so it is not a word that I use. A lot of people in my family use it as a term of endearment though.

I don't call people the b-word but I use it as an adjective. Like, "Man, that was a really b*tchy thing that she did..."

I'm not a fan of cussing in general.
