Sorry, I think immediately of axel rose.

I like your other two choices much more.

I like it but don't love it. I really love the name Abel! I also like Abbott from your list.

We know an Aksel and we love him and his name! It's their heritage and it totally fits him.

I think if you like it, that's all that matters!

I like it. I'm a teacher and we have an Axel in our school - I've never heard another student question his name in any way, if that's any help : )

Axel is a cool name. I strongly associate it with Axel Rose though.

I immediately associate it with a punk-kid, rocker wannabe type. So I guess it depends on what you are going for....I know some parents that love rocker names for their LO. I wouldn't do it, just because I'd want a slightly more professional name for an LO, but you have to go with what you love.

I like the name but definitely associate it with Axel Rose. Lucky for him, I think Guns 'n' Roses wouldn't have any association until he was much older...

I know someone named Axel. While I think it is cool/different, I wouldn't pick it personal.

I think of the figure skating jump of an axel followed by axel rose.

I voted it too weird but moreso I feel, it's ok, just not for me. I think it could be cute, but I would think of Axel Rose. I wish there was a "neutral" poll response!
