It's our dog's name.
I'd never thought of it as any kind of name before, dog or human (DH came up with it), but now that we've used it, I can totally see it being used for a little boy! It's so cute!

I know a Rya (girl) which I love, and I do like Rye although I also think sounds like a nn.

I like it as a nickname for Riley, but it actually kind of reminds me of the name Rue (from Hunger Games), which I like a lot.

Sounds like it would be a nickname for Rylan or Ryley, which are both nice sounding.

My middle name is Ryan, so one of my nns is E-Rye. So I guess I'm partial to liking it, but more as a nn. Not sure I love it as a stand-alone name.
