Overnight I magically became obsessed with the name Carlotta. I don't know if I am just being weird and pregnant and imagining things (maybe it's not as cute as I think it is), so I was wondering what you guys thought. It's the Italian version of Charlotte, and I would use Lottie as a nick name.

I love the nickname Lottie! Charlotte was on our short list because of it. I think Carlotta is so cute and not super popular like Charlotte.

As some others have said though... it really doesn't matter what we think. If you and your husband find a name you both love, just go for it!

i like carlie better than lottie. but both carlotta/lottie are cute too.

I like Carlotta, and I really like Carlie. I'm not a huge fan of Lottie though, I think I'd end up with Carlie/Lotta most of the time.
