One of the names I'm considering for our son is Felix. DH is worried it's not common enough, or people still associate it with a cat. I like more unusual names, and I think it sounds great with our last name. What do you think?

I love, love Felix! I've been thinking about it as a possible future boy name. I think it's unique but not totally out there

I think it is okay, but not my fave. I think of Oscar and Felix from that weird show - The Odd Couple (watched Nick at Nite as a kid).

I like it! My primary association is The Odd Couple, but that's not a bad thing, and it's not so strong that it would overshadow the super cute name.

I don't love it for us, but it could be super cute! I've never met a Felix, so it's got the unique but not bizarre factor.

@aprild: My feelings are more 'meh'. I don't love the name, but I don't hate it either. I agree it's not too common, if you love it. Go for it!
