Quinnette - Quinn for short. I totally love it! It is actually a child hood friend's middle name. She said it is French but I don't remember what it means exactly.
I think it's just so lovely and beautiful.

I really like Quinn, not in love with Quinnette but I don't dislike it either. I picture a beautiful little girl named Quinn.

I think it could grow on me, I love Quinn and I love names with ette at the end but I think with most names I have to hear them out loud a few times before they click for me.

@Cole: very true! I feel that same way about a lot of names. When I first read "Coralee" I was like oh kinda pretty and pretty meh about it but after hearing and seeing it more I have fallen in love with it. And my sons name was the same way- I liked it but the longer we used it the more I loved it.

I like Quinn a lot but I'm not a fan of it with the -ette ending.

@Mrs. Pen: How would you pronounce it? I know a girl with an ette name and she pronounces it like bachelorette.

I like Quinn for boys. Not a Quinnette fan - it looks like a misspelling of quintet to me.

I love the name Quinn, but like others, Quinette sounds made up. I was also trying to figure out the French meaning (as I've never heard a similar French word) and apparently it has an English origin.

I like Quinn, but agree with others that Quinnette sounds made up.

-ette is a diminutive so it basically ends up meaning little Quinn. I wouldn't use -Ita or -ito in someone's full name for the same reason.

Quinn is nice. Quinnette agree with the others sounds like a made up trendy name.

@Sammyfab: it was my friends mothers maiden name and she is French. She gave her the name as a middle name.
@Rainbow Sprinkles: yeah, not made up- it was my friends last name.

DH likes Aquinnah since it has meaning to us. I'm hoping if we have a girl, can compromise on Quinn!

I'm with everyone else here - like Quinn, really not a fan of Quinette. It just seems like one of those names where someone is trying too hard to make a name unique...
