I think it's the semi scripted reality.... like the Kardashians, Duck Dynasty and Real Housewives shows where it feels like reality but it's likely at least 50% scripted.

I have no idea, but I think it'd be really fun to have a "choose your own adventure style" show (like the old Goosebump books? I think it was Goosebumps--turn to page 18 if you want to go through the creaking door, turn to page 63 if you want to run out of the house?). Anyway, at the end of each episode the viewers are given options to vote on and the next show will continue based on the winning option. Like: Call number and vote 1 for Joey to choose Dawson, 2 for Joey to choose Pacey, 3 for Joey to choose Jen, 4 for zombies to attack...

@mrskc: I think it could either be awesome or a total train wreck. Or both!

And yeah, while reality competition shows might be on the down slope I think the semi-scripted ones will still be around a long while.

@illumina: I have nothing to verify if it is scripted, but I just assume they create situations that make for good TV.
