Based on the book "The Five Love Languages".
My husband and I read the book in preparation for marriage, and knowing that our love languages are both "words of affirmation" has helped us communicate. I always go out of my way to make sure I thank him for things and tell him how much I love him, because I know he values those words most (for example).

My LO is only 6 months so I put "physical touch" 
He is such a cuddler and loves being kissed and snuggled. I'm sure this is more relevant to parents of older children- but I was so curious!

I think our LO is too little to know for sure (16mo) but we joke that her love language is gifts. Lately when DH or I get home from being gone she runs and gets a toy and brings it to us like it is a treasured gift lol. It's really cute. (but we'd rather just get a hug haha)

DS is super cuddly and requests hugs when he's upset, so I think physical touch.

Quality time. I see him 2-3 hours a day not counting sleeping. Mom fail.

DD is only 9 mo, I put physical touch and quality time. She loves to cling into me, and when she plays she's always looking back at me to see if I'm paying attention lol

Physical touch, for sure. He's just like me. He constantly touches you when he walks by. When he sits nearby, he always puts a hand on my leg or my arm. When he's upset, he immediately asks for a hug, and getting a boo-boo kissed is the ultimate cure.

Quality time - he is a different child when you focus 100% on him vs. try to multitask.

1. Word of Affirmation, she is very receptive to positive encouragement/thanks/ect.
2. at only 6 months, physical touch and I don't think this will change. She can be crying and if I snuggle her up and kiss her cheeks she smiles immediately, I stop she cries, I do it again she smiles. She loves affection, she craves it.

I'm guessing words of affirmation. She's only about 16 months old, but she responds SO WELL to our positive language and a harsh or negative word (even one said gently) can just CRUSH her!

touch and quality time. He is always asking us to play with him - so he loves that one on one time with us. And he is totally a cuddler/kisser.

Touch for sure. She gives the best hugs and is constantly asking for "up"

Well DS is 1 so not sure yet but he's definitely not a fiddler. He has very clear reactions to positive and negative verbal reinforcement so perhaps words of affirmation. He is also very happy when DH and I are together with him so perhaps quality time too?

My 3 yo dd would be quality time for sure
My 1.5 yo would be physical touch.

Either physical touch or quality time. She always just wants to cuddle up to us and read books or have us join her in something she is doing. She is a very affectionate little girl and loves to just have us with her.
