Lo went to daycare for two days this week and came home with her very first runny nose and cough. oh and plenty of crabbiness! What things should I pick up to help her?
on my list so far...
boogie wipes and nose frida.

LO's only had one cold. We used saline drops and the humidifier when she slept.

we have used a cool mist humidifier and vicks on the feet. public health said not to use a nasal aspirator, so we decided not to buy one, but instead to hold her over a steaming hot sink and then use our fingers to gently coax the boogies out or use saline drops. fyi: doesn't work well.

saline drops (def helps), nosefrida, cool mist humidifier, sitting in bathroom with hot shower running to break up mucus while pounding on back, vicks baby rub on feet covered with socks, and a little bit on chest and before bedtime.
charlie has had a lot of colds!

If LO is older than 1 year, a teaspoon of honey works wonders for providing some relief from coughing. Aside from that what the others have suggested.

We used the humidifier, saline drops, nosefrida and her dr. gave her prescription for albuturol to help her breathe when she was congested.
Hope your LO feels better soon! Sick babies are no fun!

awww poor baby. definitely the same as others-- humidifier, saline drops, nosefrida (we have a bulb suction but I've been meaning to get a nosefrida), steamy bathroom, infant ibuprofen if they have a fever, and... lots and lots of TV.
