If you set aside fun money what do you usually spend it on?
I usually get Starbucks, dunkin donuts iced coffee or chocolate!

Lately, it's been clothing, makeup and crafting/home projects. I need to do another no spend week!

We don't really set "fun money" aside, but I can tell you right of the bat all that *would be* fun money goes to FOOD! I just cannot cook 3 meals a day everyday so any extra funds goes to feeding my sanity by picking up or ordering in dinner! lol

@regberadaisy: I save my fun money to put in savings or make extra debt payments (student loans usually). DH gets so mad - "that's not what fun money is for!!!"
But being more financially secure sounds way more fun to me!

Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks comes out of my lunch money. There's a fast food Cuban restaurant that I can putchase a filling meal under $5 and still have a $4 Tall Mocha. I budget $10/day for lunch.
Fun money is for my getting my hair done, boot camp, and not-so essential toiletries like mascara. The rest of the fun money just goes into the I hate-to-see-my-checking account-low-so-here-is-my-feel-good-cushion.

Lululemon.... even though I KNOW it's extremely overpriced, I would live in the stuff day in day out if it weren't so expensive. I occasionally treat myself with something that's on sale

@cmomma17: haha but see, if I used make up I would Def consider that a fun money expense!

@cmomma17: lol, I usually don't wear make up at all, so when I buy make up it feels like a splurge (strumming my fingers together with glee)

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I don't wear much, but mascara is a must! I could survive on mascara, Chapstick and a good moisturizer with SPF.
@regberadaisy: my DH tried that once! Didn't work out for him. Especially when I pointed out his shampoo is more expensive than mine, and that he has beauty needs too like shaving cream!

We just started having actual fun money accounts! (Before this week we jut bought whatever whenever.. and shit was adding up quick!)
I'm going to buy a kobo mini I think for upcoming vacation! Mine will mostly be spent on clothes I think.. DH will probably save his up and buy bigger ticket items!

Fabric, craft supplies, home improvement stuff, and lately, new makeup. All my supplies are running out at the same time so I am buying slowly so it doesn't seem like so much.

Lately, it's all been baby stuff I want but don't need, like decor for the nursery and cute clothes. Before it was craft supplies and home decor items.
