DH mentioned something about a push present earlier this week. I'm leaning towards a bracelet or necklace that I can add onto with each future LO (fingers crossed).
What would you want? What did you get?

Probably nothing LOL. Unless I really bug him for one. He's not that wild about the whole idea and we don't have a ton a moolah laying around to invest in some kind of jewelry/bag which is what I'd be interested in.

Wanted either a Louis Vuitton Neverfull bag or a diamond eternity band. I got the eternity band DH’s best friend (a woman) told him being pregnant sucks and so he better get me a really good push present, and he did! woot woot

I would love the other enhancer band to go on top of my engagement ring but like @highwire said, we don't have a ton of extra $$ to spend. He would have to put it on the credit card and I don't want that!

I requested ruby earrings since ruby is my babies birthstone, and 2 stones/pieces, 2 babies. He got me a gorgeous pair with diamond halos from Costco

Mmmm I love presents! We don't exchange anniversary or Christmas gifts, so it'd be nice if I got something when I have the baby. (eta: he's commented that he only believes in giving "nice" gifts for "big" things, like big anniversaries and such. And this is big!)
No idea what I would like, though. Something sentimental. I really cherish all the stuff he's given me for special occasions throughout our life together, so this is the same to me.

I'm more than aware I'm getting nothing because my DH thinks push presents are nonsense, but I'd really like a first professional family photo session for a push present. C'est dommage!

I told DH I wanted a push gift and he asked me to lease it up to him to decide what to get me, he wanted something sentimental. So I didn't say anything more or hint at anything. Then waited and waited until finally lo hit 6 months and I told him I never got one and it made me sad since he'd made it sound like he was going to get something. He said he completely forgot. Oh well.

@coacheswife123: When my dad first met my mum, back in the early 1970s, he bought her an eternity ring to show her how much he loved her. They showed my grandad this lovely gift and he punched my dad and almost knocked him out. Turns out he thought they'd said "maternity ring", he thought my dad had knocked my mum up!! So, actually, a ring would be quite fitting!

I received a half-eternity band for my right hand. Hubs says that he'll gift me another for each future child to make a stack. I love it.

DH refuses to consider the idea of a push present, lol...so I won't be getting one! But if I WERE to get one, I would want a pair of earrings or a larger diamond eternity band.

I want an eternity band for my right hand but I hopefully will get that next month, so maybe something louis vuitton? Or maybe a kitten!

Well if he were to get me something, a necklace with our baby's birthstone would be nice. I'm not expecting anything though. I'm not even sure he knows what a push present is, so I'd be really surprised if he got me something.

I want a right hand ring to commemorate the birth of our first child. Don't love the term "push present" but, hey, whatever works!

I didn't want anything... maybe I'll want something for the next baby!

I got my push present early!! It's my push + 3 year anniversary present rolled into one! Love it!

For my DD I got a sewing machine (I was just getting into quilting) and with my DS I got a fancy recliner/glider.

Our anniversary will be right around the same time as LO's arrival, so it would be nice if he bought me a present. I've told him that Godiva chocolates are absolutely non-negotiable. I'm diabetic and have been pretty good all pregnancy. Let's see if he thinks to get something fun to go with them.

Dunno...my 1st push present was a surprise so it would be nice if DH surprised me again. I'm not going to ask for anything though.

I doubt DH will even think about this. I did tell him the other night that I want an initial necklace once we know the name. But knowing him, I will have to email him the link for Mother's Day or something.

Um, probably nothing. I've never even heard of this! I think LO will be gift enough

DH bought me a house!
Haha. Seriously though, I don't want anything. Baby is the gift.

He bought me a ruby and citrine (our birthstones) halo ring that I wear on my right hand. I'd like a ring with my LOs birthstone to stack on top of it.

DH is getting me the same band that I got for my wedding ring to go on the other side of my engagement ring. I'm a stickler for symmetry.

I didn't know push presents existed, lol... I told my DH I want a new tattoo when I'm done having babies, does that count? Honestly, I think I'll be good with a LO.

I will be surprised to get anything at all. I don't think my husband has ever heard of a push present and if he has then he probably thinks it is a silly idea.
blogger / watermelon / 14218 posts
First delivery: diamond stud earrings that he had wanted to give me as a wedding present 4 years earlier.
Second delivery: combined with other occasions (Mother's Day, 7th anniversary, etc), I re-set my solitaire into a 3 stone setting.
I guess I just love diamonds. I wear them every moment of every day.

hubs has no clue what a push present is, so i won't be getting one... haha. to be honest, i can't even think of anything i want! i don't wear jewelery other than my wedding rings, and we have all the gadgets we want/need. i could use a new vacuum. how lame.

I don't know yet! I'm leaning towards getting a Chanel bag, my first one!
bananas / 9973 posts
@ali - Hilarious story! I had to read it to DH!
@chopsuey - Wow! Lovely!!!
@merryc & @rubies - Love both of those!
@mrswagon - Niiice! Diamonds in any way shape are form will be accepted!
As for me, I'm lucky that enough friends and coworkers have drilled the idea of a push present into DHs head that he knows he should get one. I'll probably receive some time of small piece of jewelry, but my dream gift would be a Cartier Love bracelet.
bananas / 9628 posts
I doubt I'll get one, but if I did, I'd want another band like my wedding ring to stack. shown on DH's finger
coconut / 8279 posts
@mrs. bird: we have the same wedding band
I got a new car - the 2door didn't work out so well with a baby so I got a Prius.
blogger / pear / 1964 posts
I'm totally going to admit to having a Pintrest board devoted to push presents. I don't want something expensive, just something to help commemorate the event. I'm thinking a piece of jewelry with LO's birthstone. November stones are cheap, so I don't think it will have huge monetary value, just sentimental value.
cantaloupe / 6800 posts
Something similar to this. Haven't decided on gold/white gold yet. But just a little round pendant that has LO's initial on it.
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
We just got a new house and new car, so I didn't feel right asking for a push gift. I was happy with a healthy son. DH tells me he is going to get me a ring to go on the other side of my engagement ring though.
