I got a baby as a push gift
and my husband treated me like a queen the first 12 days because he was home with us - bought all my favorite foods and snacks, cooked and cleaned and waited on me, exchanged the broken keurig (broke morning we got home!!) & bought dunkin kcups, etc.

I totally thought of this thread tonight because DH asked me if I would like a piece of jewelry or something else as a push present. I said he didn't have to but he insisted! I said that something in her birthstone would be lovely. Since I'm so sentimental about jewelry, it's only fitting it has her stone in it
And he brought it up all on his own!

I have been wanting a new camera (an Olympus PEN-1) for a while, so when Hubs asked what I wanted for push present and Christmas, I told him he could get me that and it would count for Christmas, push present (due Jan), and birthday (March).

I know DH is going to want to buy one out of obligation because I had mentioned it before getting pregnant... So I'm not sure. I think maybe I'll tell him our newborn photography will be present enough because that is NOT cheap. I already have a lot of jewelry and I'm a little dubious of what he would pick on his own. And I don't' want to pick it myself. So, we'll see.

I think I'd like another eternity band that I could stack with my wedding band and e-ring. Baby is due in April, so diamonds will be his/her birthstone!

I got Mr. Jacks the present I would have wanted because I knew he wouldn't get me anything (just the way he is!). I got him a video camera to capture all those special moments... But honestly, we mostly just use our phones now!

This is boring, but I want new glasses! They're not really a need because I can see fine out of the 2 pairs I have, but it would be fun to get new ones. Also a camera would be handy...ours is super crappy.
