Normally we just get Carters or Gap but recently purchased Kirkland brand PJs. I like them but I do think they run small. Just something to be aware of!

FWIW, I remember wearing PJ sets in the winter and nightgowns in the summer when I was little until I was old enough to realize other girls did NOT wear pink nightgowns to bed and I switched to oversized t shirts and shorts....probably whenever I started going to sleepovers.

My almost 6 year old girl still wears pajama sets most nights. Gap, on major sale, are my favorite. They are really soft and hold up to two kids. But I do have a hard time
Finding short sleeve tops with pants sometimes so i do mix and match. My girls will happily sleep in shorts but both have a rash on their legs that they scratch if they don’t have on pants.

And I totally had pajamas growing up for a long time. I can remember my 90210 Jason Priestly nightgown that I begged for at kids r us!

@bees_knees: we do a combo. I generally don’t stress matching sets because the tops are always too tight on my DD. The arms are super tight in both long and short sleeves.

For bottoms she’s still wearing size 4 and she’s 6 wearing mostly size 7 for regular clothes. I get pj bottoms from Primary. Tops are clothes she’s outgrown or old navy/ target t-shirts.

My kids don’t really differentiate between regular clothes and pjs 🤷‍♀️ I stopped buying lo1 pjs when she was about 3.5, she prefers to sleep in her regular leggings and t-shirts

I'll buy them cute matching sets, and they 100% prefer to wear their dad's old Tshirts, which is, in all honesty, pretty cute.

I love Primary jammies. They make short and long sleeve as well as pants and shorts. Makes it so easy to mix and match to tailor a set to the temps.

Mine wear HA almost exclusively, but we buy used or at the outlets (they have sales several times a year where they are $15 and under). Even if you don't have an outlet near you, you can call during the sale and they will ship to you. The quality is amazing and my eczema-prone daughter does much better in them than Carter.

My daughter wears long sleeved PJ shirts and pants every night to bed, even in the summer, because she never keeps covers on her. We're not too careful about always making sure the shirt is the one made to match the pants though. We buy mostly Carters, but only on sale. I've found them for a pretty good price at Target. I've bought other character PJs from Target, and they seemed to be sized a good bit smaller than Carters.

We do both. We get some hand me downs and those end up being shorts and a random worn out or stained tee shirt. My kids do prefer sets. I used to get them from Target but a lot of times they won't last. My oldest got a pair of Christmas PJ's and we ordered the larger size so he could wear them 2 years and after about 5 washes they were threadbare. We do have one Cat & Jack set for my youngest and the quality seems fine. I would consider more of that brand only from Target. Since we have 3 kids I have recently started to buy more HA so that they will last through all of them.
For winter my kids all still love fleece footed jammies from Carter's. I try to stock up when I find good clearance deals. It is hard to find a lot for cheap above toddler sizes and you just have to get lucky.

My kid usually sleeps in whatever he was wearing that day because bedtime is such a shit show and I’m not interested in forcing him into pjs.

We buy Leveret brand. They are usually on sale on Amazon. Don’t pay full retail!

My kids sleep mainly in underwear but I've found reasonably priced sets from children's place and costco. Just looked quick at costco and they have a set with two shirts, two shorts and two pants right now.
