How did your baby kicks feel to you?

How did your baby kicks feel to you?

I wouldn't know yet :: pout :: I haven't felt anything! Or if I have I've mistaken it for gas! I'll check back in when I do though?
I have a question for those of you who have though - how long did the movement last early on? Was it just a quick POP, or did it last longer? If its just a quick pop I've probably felt it and just written it off as gas, if it lasts longer I definitely haven't felt him yet...

The first way I described it to my DH, was how your stomach feels when its just starting to growl, but just that first little pop of the growl, not the whole thing.
Now, it feels like my stomach is rolling, sometimes almost like I'm sick to my tummy.

For me early on it felt like gas and was hard to distinguish from it. As time went on, I'd say that it felt like a yucky bowel rumble (like a bad poo is coming!), but in the front, instead of the back
Now (at 23 weeks) it feels like a poke or pop... that's not quite right, but like when you press quickly on a balloon or inflated ball and it's a quick pressure that vibrates and rebounds a little. Sorta...

For me, it feels like little bubbles or butterflies fluttering. Now at 24 weeks, LO sometimes kicks like a little ninga....I can see the fluttering of my tummy if I sit still and watch. It's crazy!

Toward the end of the pregnancy, the LO got super active - at my baby shower, I was just standing around and out of nowhere there was a kick that was so hard, it felt like my stomach was going to rip.
Oh, and feet stuck in my ribs hurt SO bad.
My favorite movement though was the rolling type! It felt so weird and amazing at the same time!
In the beginning though, it felt like I had a twitch inside my abdomen. It never felt like gas to me...

I think the best way to describe it is like when you are in a car and someone puts their knee in the back of your seat or when a kid is kicking the back of your chair on an airplane. It kind of feels like that except from the inside. Sometimes it kind of feels like waves too.
It's very strange and hard to describe.

At first it felt like a butterfly flutter, then popcorn popping, and then it really started feeling like kicks and punches.

i think it feels mostly like gas popping.... it's a weird feeling. but i'm a first time mom, so it may just be a guess. lol.

Earlier on, it felt just like gas. Now (34 weeks), sometimes it feels like kicks or punches, sometimes he just rolls around and that is the hardest to describe although both are just as @zippylef described, like somebody kicking the back of your seat. Kind of easy to envision it but hard to know what it really feels like.

I get two different sensations. The first is little bubbles like gas or a muscle spasm -- but they happen in different areas of my lower abdomen, and it's definitely not gas. The other one is a rolling sensation, which I think happens when baby is making really big movements like flipping over or moving to a different area of my belly.

At first it felt like little pops in my belly, very very faint. It got much much stronger as the pregnancy goes on to the point it could really hurt you!

I'm 17 weeks, and in the past week I've been feeling the baby a lot. It feels like the baby is doing little flip flops in there. It's very strange!

At 14 weeks I felt the first tickle--felt like someone was tickling me with a feather from the inside.
Then I felt nothing for a long time.
17 weeks I started to feel baby almost every day--like... a muscle spasm, but instead of muscle shaped, round, and ripply like drops falling into a puddle and spreading.

When I first felt it, the only way I could describe it was like a slight muscle spasm.

For the past week and a half I have felt like little bubbles popping here and there. Not every day but most days. I'm pretty sure it's baby moving around. I felt one strong movement this weekend that felt like a definite baby movement! I'm just over 17 weeks.

At first, and still sometimes now, really big gas. Otherwise, it feels like kicks and jabs. Or like she is squirming around a ton, like my insides jiggling I guess you could say!
