Charlie called me Daddy for a while, but recently he started calling me, "Dad". Wow, look who's all grown up now haha! Before you know it, he'll be calling me "Father" (kidding).
When I pick Charlie up at daycare, I always hide a bit and watch him play with his friends. When Charlie finally sees me, he lights up like a Christmas tree and shouts out, "MY DADDY!!!"
It is pretty awesome. My heart melts each and every time.

Since DH is DS's step-dad we're still a "mix" of names... for the most part he calls him "Dad" or "Daddy" (like when he gets home) and occasionally he calls him by his name. Dad and Daddy are becoming more prevalent than his name though... Enough so that I refer to him a "Dad" now too. Hopefully by the time baby arrives we'll be using "Dad" and "Daddy" full time! =D
