DD is really into learning names these days and constantly repeats her name: "Weesa" (Luisa). It's just so cute! That's how all the kiddos at church and in her play group say it; I'm not sure when they learn the L sound. I love hearing her say names!

Right now, the closest we get is "Me me me me me me me me." As in, I'm holding a snack and Elliot wants it so he says, "Me me me me me...." again and again. Yep, dear, I got the message that you would like it.

She's 27m and only recently started calling herself by her name. Otherwise she calls herself baby.

I feel bad, E calls a little boy at daycare "Lenny" even though his name is Landon. Well he has decided he will only answer to Lenny and calls himself that now. His mom wasn't as happy about the decision

DD speaks in third person all the time, and only recently (24 months) started saying "I want, or I like".

She calls herself by her first name Audrey and when I ask her if she is my monkey she will say no I'm Audrey.

He calls himself "Baby J". He also uses "you" instead of "I" to refer to himself, as in "You want banana" or "You want to go outside".

He'll call himself by his first name, but it sounds as if he's putting an exclamation point at the end of it. Love it.

They don't have names for themselves yet but they have names for each other. Dallas calls Theo "Eee-o" and Theo calls Dallas "Dalla" or "Da-ta."
If Dallas is looking for Theo or calling out for him, he'll stretch it out and go "Eeeeee-oooooooooooo." The cutest thing EVER. He'll also occasionally shorten it and just say "Yo!"

LO calls her teacher Miss Lisa, Elsa. Don't ask me why because she can pronounce L just fine.

LO calls herself by her first name (Eleanor) and also sometimes will tell people her full name (first and last).
She will say "I" in the context of phrases like "I love you" and sometimes "I want . . ." but also does third person much of the time, usually a "No! Eleanor DO IT" when she; ahem, clearly doesn't need/want our help and can do it on her own thankyouverymuch!

He refers to himself as "Tay-o" and leaves off the "ma" in Mateo.

Her name is Jodie and she pronounces it "Show-ey".
She pronounces her brother's name like he did at this age, too... it's RJ but to her it's "Ahh-Shay"... with a Bostonian accent...!! We don't have the accent but I think her teachers do!
