My two year old isn't really into much right now unless it involves technology, which isn't cool. I need to break her of that and get her into playing with some real toys. What does your toddler play with the most right now? Or what activity have they been enjoying?

Her play pots and pans, and her baby dolls with the stroller. And bags, she loves to carry them like a purse or hook them onto the stroller.
ETA We just did some painting the other day with a little dollar spot paint kit and she loved it!

A wooden block set, cars, cars, and more cars, and balls. (I found some really great large wooden cars that are handmade at our state fair. I love that they aren't plastic and they don't have batteries!)

Playing at the kitchen sink in his learning tower. Kid is obsessed! As for real toys he loved mega bloks and any truck or car.

She loves cars, duplos, wooden puzzles, and this gigantic cloth book of Old Macdonald Had a Farm, complete with animal sounds that someone gave us. The book is bigger than she is, but she drags it around. She still likes her babies and stroller most days. And she likes to scribble on paper.

LO is 2: loves his bin of cars and the bigger cars/trucks. His indoor trampoline (ha) and the sit n spin!

Matchbox cars, Tonka Trucks, and trains. If it has wheels it is the best toy ever.

Play kitchen, particularly a salad set that has lots of little wooden vegetables in it. He will play with those vegetables several times a day, moving them from bowl to pot to pan and stirring them around.

She also got a Melissa and Doug reusable sticker book for Christmas that she LOVES. It's a fun thing for us to do together. I like dressing the girls as much as she does.

Mmm... Daddy. Seriously all he wants is to play with daddy. Play chase, hide and seek, wrestle... He's not that into his toys right now. He likes his train tracks for a few minutes.

Magnatiles and cars

Almost 2 year old: cars/trucks/trains and various types of blocks.
3.5 year old: Magnatiles and things that aren't toys, and cars of course -
10 months and nothing. Just wants to get into cupboards and drawers and crawl and climb. He won't play with anythkng!

We have a mini-grill set up in the living room she plays with and cooks on (her bigger kitchen is in the basement and it's just been too cold down there lately) and she takes orders and makes us food. She loves it. she also has a tool bench that she builds on.
