I made a gingerbread loaf, which was really yummy. I'm going to bake this weekend, but I haven't decided what else I want to make yet!

@HLK208: what are rolo cookies?!?! I think I need these in my life! Also, here is the recipe I used: http://www.chow.com/recipes/18658-gingerbread-loaf The loaf fell in the middle, but it was still really yummy!
@LuLu Mom: what is christmas crack?!
@Dandelion: cookie weekend for us, too!
@oliviaoblivia: ooh, I forgot about chocolate covered pretzels. I may have to do that!
@blackbird: that all sounds delicious!
I think I want to make some orange cookies, but I don't have a specific recipe in mind. Just something with an orange glaze that is soft and chewy. Any thoughts?

@HLK208: for the record, I am 100% impressed that you are still baking, despite the HG. You are one tough cookie.

I bake double batches of double chocolate chip cookies and white chocolate cranberry cookies, made peanut butter chocolate chip fudge and made cake mix cookies.
I will repeat all of those again this weekend for my DH's work and all of our family PLUS sugar free peanut butter cookies for FIL and maybe one or two other cookies (lemon glazed, sugar, who knows!)

This weekend I want to bake cookies. I'll probably just make the classic chocolate chip cookies with the recipe from the back of the nestle tollhouse chocolate chip bag. If I have time, I may make some oatmeal raisin cookies too.

Sugar cookies and peanut butter balls. Will be making more of both this weekend plus thumbprint cookies and gingerbread cookies. I love holiday junk.

Not really much of a baker, but I made vegan oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and vegan brownies this week.

DH made gingerbread cookies with DD last week and I just made macarons from a kit. I'm not much of a baker, I don't really plan on baking for the holidays. I limit myself to boxes and kits, otherwise I stress out! Lol.

I am usually all over christmas cookie baking. I do an assortment of sugar cookies, candy canes, jambories, etc. and a family recipe nut roll and bread. This year though, I'm baking a baby and just don't have the energy to do it all! I might just do the bread this weekend because I can't imagine Christmas without it!

This year I'm taking it pretty slow. The only thing I've made is this: http://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/cranberry_upside_down_cake/
and some coconut macaroons (recipe on the Baker's brand bag).

@LovelyPlum: thanks! The Zofran has helped!
So rolo cookies are devils food cake mix, 2 eggs and 1/3 oil mixed and then rolled into a ball formed around a rolo and baked. Dusted with powder sugar too. They're SO good!

So far this year I've only made cake batter fudge and gingerbread cookies. I want to do more but we only have so many people in town to give to and I don't want to have that stuff around the house with my massive sweet tooth!

@mrsog: baking a baby counts
I might actually steal that idea if anyone asks!
@HLK208: first, those sound fabulous. Secondly, I'm SO glad to hear you're feeling better. I can't imagine HG with 2 little ones already. Relief is good!

@Mrs. Sketchbook: that looks really good! I think I might try that for Christmas Eve-I have to bring dessert to a dinner party that we're headed to.

@LovelyPlum: it is one of the best cakes I've ever made! So elegant. A tip: make sure you use a pan that is higher than 2 inches. I actually use a frying pan I have that has straight sides.
eggplant / 11408 posts
@Mrs. Sketchbook: I am so excited to hear that. And thanks for the tip I have a tall springform pan that might work for it. I'll let you know how it goes!

While IT tried (and failed) to fix my computer remotely today I made oatmeal chocolate chip pecan cookies and s'mores bars. Hopefully going to make something else this weekend but haven't quite determined what -- thinking bourbon pecans... And maybe chocolate chip cookies.
